Refreshing Tequila and Cucumber Cocktail with Lime & Jalapeno Flavour Pearls
This recipe for Refreshing Tequila and Cucumber Cocktail with Lime and Jalapeno Flavour Pearls is a delightfully savoury sip. Perfect to enjoy pre-dinner on a warm night.
What you’ll need – serves 2
- 90 ml Tequila – we used Patron silver
- 75 ml Cucumber puree
- 75 ml Lime juice
- 30 ml Elderflower liqueur – we used St Germain
- 30 ml Agave syrup – Monin brand from Dan Murphy
- Couple of drops Jalapeno hot sauce (to taste) – Woolworths has some in Mexican food area
- Salt – to taste
- Cucumber slices – garnish
- Lime & Jalapeno Flavour Pearls
- Cocktail slices
- Cocktail Salt – Chipotle & Lime
- Ice cubes
- Blender
- Glasses
To do
Firstly we need to make the Cucumber puree. Peel the Cucumber and roughly chop. Add to the blender with aprox 60 ml (2 shots) of Water. Blend for a couple of minutes until nice and smooth.
Next
Lets prepare the garnish. Simply slice the Cucumber on the diagonal to get a nice long slice. If it’s thick just slice it in half lengthways first. Dip the end in the Chipotle & Lime Cocktail Salt or if you prefer just rim the glass edge with the Cocktail Salt. Have the Lime or Lemon ready from your Cocktail Slices, add a small spoonful of the Lime & Jalapeno Flavour Pearls on top ready to add to your finished Cocktail.
To serve
Into the blender add all ingredients with 6 or so ice cubes. Blend at a high speed. I like to check the taste here. Adding a little Salt or extra Jalapeno Sauce can make all the difference to your finished sip!
Add some Ice Cubes into each Glass and pour it over. Add your Cucumber garnish (if using) and slice with Limited Edition Lime & Jalapeno Flavour Pearls.
