Raspberry Bramble with Raspberry Flavour Pearls
Raspberry Bramble is a refreshing Gin based Cocktail that’s a breeze to make. The addition of the fresh Raspberry and Raspberry Flavour Pearls garnish adds a wonderful flavour/texture and talking point. I love a garnish that is actually delicious to eat too! We prepared the Gin, syrup and Lemon base in a jug and kept it chilled. A plate of pre-skewered Raspberries too. Less fussing at the last minute then!
*A great recipe to adapt too. If you prefer a different fruit and Flavour Pearl just swap out the Chambord for another liqueur. eg: fresh Strawberries and Strawberry Flavour Pearls and your favourite Strawberry liqueur, Mandarin segments and Tangerine Flavour Pearls with a Mandarin liqueur. You get the idea!
What you’ll need – for 1 serve, just multiply accordingly
- 50 ml Gin
- 30 ml Lemon juice
- 15 ml Simple Syrup (recipe below)
- 15 ml Chambord
- Ice
- Toothpicks – long enough to rest on your glass (mine were from Kmart)
- Fresh Raspberries – 2 per glass
- Raspberry Flavour Pearls
- Mint – optional
To do
Lets prepare the Simple Syrup first. This can be stored in the fridge for a couple of weeks and is an ingredient in many delicious Cocktail recipes. Put 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup Sugar into a small pot and bring to the boil. Done! Refrigerate until required.
Next
Into a jug if making multiple serves – add the Gin, Lemon Juice and Syrup. Refrigerate until required. If just making one or two, add the ingredients into a shaker with a little Ice and give it a shake to combine and chill. Add a couple of fresh Raspberries onto your toothpicks.
To serve
I put mine directly onto a serving tray. Add a couple of Ice Cubes into each glass. Spoon the Raspberry Flavour Pearls into a dish. Add your dish of Raspberry garnish skewers. At the table simply pour in a measure of Chambord to each glass. Top with the Gin mix. Add the Raspberry garnish skewer and top with a spoonful of Raspberry Flavour Pearls.
Cheers 🍸
Until next time
