
Petite Caprese Salad & Balsamic Flavour Pearls is my go to quick dish.
Here is a simple starter. No cooking involved. The most labour intensive part is getting to the shops!!!!!!
What You Need
- Ripe cherry tomatoes
- Milk cherries (baby bocconcini)
- Basil
- Balsamic Flavour Pearls
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- Chinese soup spoons to serve.
To Do
Simply slice the tomatoes and bocconcini, layer alternately in spoons. Season with salt and pepper to taste and finish with a sprig of basil, tiny drizzle of oil and a generous scatter of Balsamic Flavour Pearls.
*these can be prepared a couple of hours in advance. Just cover with a little glad wrap and leave them on the bench. No need to keep them in the fridge as they taste better when room temperature*
