Buttered Popcorn with Cocktail Sugars & Salts

Delicious Buttered Popcorn. We’ve made ours even more delicious with a sprinkling of our Cocktail Sugars and Salts. Intensely delicious and there is a flavour to suit everyone. Just perfect for your next movie night at home or party(for big or little kids!)

What you’ll need

• Popcorn kernels (1/2 cup kernels will make 15 cups popped)
• Olive oil
• Large pot with lid – (or hot air popping machine)
• Your choice of Cocktail Sugar or Cocktail Salt Just click on the links to see what flavours we have available.
• Butter – melt – lots!
• We served ours in muffin wraps that we bought at the supermarket. A nice 1 cup serve.

To do

Lets get this Popcorn popped! Put your pot on the stove, add a good dash of Olive Oil. Turn the heat to high. Add few Kernels. Place the lid on. Once they have popped remove them then add the rest of the kernels off the heat. Put the lid back on. Keep moving the Popcorn around so that the Kernels don’t burn in one spot. Once all popped put them into a large bowl. Take a peek at this video if you want to watch how it’s done. 

Next

Melt your butter. Microwave or stove top. Take your pick. This is what the Sugars and Salts will stick to. Adding yumminess to every bite!

To serve

Simply drizzle the melted Butter onto the Popcorn and add your selected Cocktail Sugar or Cocktail Salt. Give the bowl a good mix so it’s all well coated. Now simply serve into individual portions or just enjoy a big bowl. I’m loving the Sweet & Salty as well as the Chipotle and Lime Cocktail Salts The fruity Cocktail Sugars are delightful too.
