Watermelon, Fetta and Balsamic Flavour Pearls
It may sound a little unusual but this is a sublime combination of flavours and textures. Fresh juicy Watermelon with creamy Fetta and Balsamic Flavour Pearls. Add a little fresh Mint and you have a speedy, eye catching and oh so delicious canape.
Just perfect for those hot Summer nights eating and drinking with friends and family. My favorite time of the year ❤️
What you’ll need
- Watermelon
- Fetta – just buy what you like. We used some lovely Persian Fetta in oil
- Mint
- Balsamic Flavour Pearls
- Sea Salt & Ground Black Pepper
- Tooth picks if you wish
To do
Lets cut the Watermelon first. We liked the look of a combination of wedges and cubes. Just do what suits you at the time. This is the only fiddly bit so might be good to do ahead of time and stored in the fridge if you want to be really organized.
Wash and pick the Mint leaves.
To serve
Simply place each piece of Watermelon onto your platter, add a Mint leaf and some Fetta. Add a toothpick at this stage if you wish. Using a fork (it can be easier to serve the Pearls from the jar without the juice this way) add a few Balsamic Flavour Pearls onto each piece of Fetta. And lastly season well with Sea Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper.
